Wheel Balancing

The aim of wheel balancing is to make sure that the weight of the wheel and tyre is spread evenly around the axle. Our team at The Garage use the most up to date equipment at our site in Sheffield, which senses uneven distribution of weight and allows the technicians to place tiny weights at certain points around the wheel, offsetting the weight.

If your wheels are out of balance, you might notice:

• Uneven wear on the tyres
• Vibration when driving above 40 mph
